Blocking Individual Numbers

  1. Open the Phone app
  2. Tap on “Recents”
  3. Tap on the “i” icon next to the number you want to block
  4. Scroll down and tap on “Block this Caller”

This will block calls and texts from that specific number.

Using a Call Blocking App

You can download a call blocking app like Truecaller or RoboKiller from the App Store. These apps maintain databases of known spam numbers and can automatically block calls and texts from those numbers.

Some apps like WideProtect allow you to define prefixes to block a range of numbers.

Turning on Silence Unknown Callers

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Phone
  3. Turn on “Silence Unknown Callers”

This will silence calls from numbers not in your contacts, mail, or messages.

Be sure to add important contacts to avoid missing legitimate calls. You can always check voicemail for missed calls.
