Apple Pay allows you to make secure, contactless payments in stores, apps, and on the web using your Apple devices. It is easy to set up across your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.

Set Up Apple Pay on iPhone
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone
- Tap the + icon in the top-right corner
- Tap “Debit or Credit Card”
- Use your iPhone camera to scan your card or enter your details manually
- Verify with your bank and agree to the terms and conditions
- Your card will now be ready for use with Apple Pay across your devices
Once set up, you can use Apple Pay in stores by double-clicking the side button and holding your iPhone near the contactless reader.
Set Up Apple Pay on Apple Watch
- Ensure your Apple Watch is paired to your iPhone
- On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app
- Go to the My Watch tab and tap “Wallet & Apple Pay”
- Tap “Add” next to the card you want to add or tap “Add Card” for a new one
- Follow the on-screen prompts and verify with your bank if needed
- Your card will be added and ready for payments on Apple Watch
To pay, double-click the side button, choose your card, and hold your Apple Watch to the reader.
Set Up Apple Pay on iPad
- Go to Settings on your iPad
- Scroll down and tap “Wallet & Apple Pay”
- Tap “Add Card”
- Use your camera or enter your card details manually
- Verify your identity with your bank if required
- Agree to the terms and conditions
- Your card will now be available for Apple Pay
You can then use Apple Pay within supported apps and websites on your iPad by tapping the Apple Pay button during checkout.
Set Up Apple Pay on Mac
- Go to System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay
- Click “Add Card”
- Choose to add a card you already have set up or add a new one
- Enter your card details and security code if adding a new card
- Verify with your bank if required
- Your card will be ready for online purchases on your Mac
When checking out on supported websites, click the Apple Pay button and confirm using your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Customize Your Apple Pay Settings
In Settings or System Preferences, go to Wallet & Apple Pay to:
- Set a default payment card
- View recent transactions
- Add shipping and contact details
- Remove cards
You can also manage cards and activity right within the Wallet app on your iPhone.
