In this video, I will show you how to create a simple bubble map in Canva
0:05
And there are two methods that I will show you. So the first method is really just using a template from the Canva library
0:12
You can go to your Conva dashboard and search for bubble maps and you've found a lot of
0:17
this cool bubble map designs that you use and then you can customize the content later for
0:22
your use case. Let's say I want to select this design and click customize this template
0:30
Remember that some templates may be free but others may be paid if you have if you are using the free version then you can only use the free
0:38
bubble maps but usually that is good enough. So if you actually look at one example here, it's just a circle and then there are some arrows and also there are some smaller circles
0:51
So it's actually very simple and you can design your own if you want to. Let's add a new page and I'm going to create my own
0:59
bubble map let's go to elements click shapes and click see all we want to insert the first
1:05
big circle in the middle let put it here and let change the color okay now let add smaller circles Go to elements again
1:21
Shapes and circle. So let's take it a little smaller. We want to make the one in the middle to be very big
1:30
We can put it in a place basically. It doesn't really matter
1:36
Oh, by the way, it is important to know that if we want to resize the circle
1:40
you want to select any of these four control points from the corners you don't want to
1:45
resize from here it's going to make it elongated it's not circle anymore so you don't want to
1:51
use that make sure to use the corners so let's duplicate that again and yeah i'm going to
2:01
select this and duplicate it again and let's put it here and i'm going to arrange the position of
2:09
it's going to look like this there are multiple designs sometimes the every
2:16
circle has the same same size and also they are being symmetrical but others
2:22
look a bit more arbitrary like this one there is no simple there no one size for every circle so we are going to follow that later we can change the color let say this is orange and green dark green purple red and this finally
2:42
maybe this one should be i guess is okay did that look awesome now the next thing that we
2:50
we need to do is to add some arrow. Let's go to elements, shapes, and let's click on arrow. There are
2:58
multiple designs, but don't worry, you can always customize the arrow design later. I'm going to click on that one
3:05
Let's put it here and other end here. I'm going to make it a bit thicker. And also, you can
3:14
change the line end or the line start if you want to. I guess I'm going to leave it as it is. I'm going to
3:20
to duplicate this arrow. Let's move it here. I didn't mean to do that. Okay, let's give it some space
3:35
and yeah sometimes you can connect that sometimes you don want to but I don want to do that so I don want to create a connection at the right connection to every circle
3:50
Okay, that looks great. Let's duplicate it again. duplicate this is going to be a bit more labor intensive especially we have a lot of
4:11
a lot of circles but you know it's usually not going to take more than a minute to do
4:27
it's time for the text and I guess you already know how to do it just go to text and add some
4:35
text let's say this is here one and let's add some smaller text here here I'm going to
4:51
just copy and a shortcut to make it quicker so Control nvvv again
