To change the language in the Canva interface:
- On desktop, click on your avatar in the top right corner and select “Account Settings”.
- On mobile, language settings are not currently available. You need to use the desktop version.
- Under the “Your Account” tab, find the “Language” section and select your desired language from the dropdown menu.
Translate Design Content
Changing the interface language does not automatically translate any text or content within your Canva designs. To translate designs:
- Manually translate text elements by editing the text within your designs.
- Use Canva’s built-in translation tool to automatically translate text (available in Canva Pro and Teams plans).
- Work with a professional translation service to translate your designs into other languages. However, Canva files cannot be directly shared with translators.

- Test how your designs look in other languages, as layout changes may be needed for different scripts.
- Use Canva’s multilingual fonts, images, and templates to create culturally relevant designs.
- Changing the language on Canva’s mobile app is not currently supported. Use the desktop site.
