How to Connect and Use Discord Chat on Your PS5 Console

1. On your PS5, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Linked Services and select Discord
2. Select “Link Account” and accept the terms
3. On the Discord mobile app, go to User Settings > Connections and select PlayStation Network
4. Log in with your PSN credentials and link the accounts

How to Join a Discord Voice Chat

On Mobile:

1. Join or start a voice channel on the Discord app
2. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
3. Press “Join on PlayStation”
4. Select your PS5 console
5. Press “Join Call on PlayStation”

On Desktop:

1. Select “Transfer to PlayStation” icon in the bottom left
2. Choose your PS5 console
3. Press “Transfer Voice”

How to Switch Between Discord and Game Chat

• Press the PS button on your controller
• Go to the Discord voice chat card
• Press square to toggle between Discord and game chat

Tips

• Make sure your PS5 is updated to the latest firmware
• Use a headset for best audio quality
• You can hear proximity chat from others while in Discord, but they can’t hear you
• Some users have reported issues transferring chat with Warzone open
