To leave a Signal group:
- Open the Signal app and go to the group chat you want to leave
- Tap on the group name at the top to open the group settings
- Scroll down and tap “Leave group”
- Confirm by tapping “Yes” when prompted

How to Permanently Delete a Signal Group (as Admin)
To completely delete a Signal group as the admin:
- Open the group chat and tap on the group name
- Go to the member list and make sure “Admin” is shown next to your name
- Remove each member individually by tapping on their name and selecting “Remove from group”
- Once you are the only member left, tap the group name again
- Scroll down and tap “Block and leave” or “Leave group”
- Confirm by tapping “Block and leave” or “Yes”
This will delete the group chat and history for all participants. Non-admins cannot delete groups.

Alternative: Mute, Archive, or Block
If you don’t have admin privileges, you cannot fully delete the group. However, you can:
- Mute notifications and archive the group chat
