How To Upload and Change Your Profile Photo in Cisco Webex Meetings

Having a profile photo in Cisco Webex Meetings makes it easier for meeting participants to recognize you. Here is how to upload or change your profile picture in Webex Meetings.

Prerequisites

Before uploading your profile photo, ensure:

  • You have a Webex Meetings account
  • You are signed in to your Webex Meetings account through the desktop app or web browser
  • You have a picture file ready to upload. Supported formats are .jpg, .png, .gif, or .bmp. The file size should be under 10 MB.

Upload a New Profile Photo

Follow these steps to upload a new profile picture:

  1. Sign in to your Webex Meetings account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select “Edit Profile”
  4. In the Profile Picture section, click “Change”
  5. Click “Upload Picture” and select the photo file from your computer
  6. Preview the cropped image and click “Save”

The new profile picture will now be visible to you and meeting participants.

Change Existing Profile Photo

To change an already uploaded profile photo:

  • Repeat the steps above to upload a new photo file. This will replace the existing profile picture.

  1. Click on your profile icon
  2. Select “Edit Profile”
  3. In the Profile Picture section, click “Change”
  4. Click “Upload Picture” and choose the new photo from your computer
  5. Preview and click “Save”

The updated profile photo will be visible to meeting participants within a few hours as the cache clears.

  • Use a clear, high-quality headshot of yourself so you are easily recognizable
  • Ensure the background is neutral and not distracting
  • Check that your face and head take up most of the frame

  • Make sure you are the only person in the photo
  • Check that the image file size is under 10 MB

Photo not updating?

  • Sign out and back into Webex Meetings to refresh the cache
  • Try uploading from a different device like mobile or desktop
  • Ensure your account is not managed by admin rules

Unable to upload?

  • Double check the file format – JPG, PNG, GIF accepted
  • Verify the file size is under 10 MB
  • Try compressing the image to reduce file size
