How To Add Songs to Your YouTube Music Queue Playlist

YouTube Music allows you to easily build a queue of songs that will play one after the other like a playlist. This queue is called the “Up Next” queue. You can add individual songs, entire albums, or playlists to your Up Next queue to customize your listening experience.

Why Use the Up Next Queue

The Up Next queue in YouTube Music has several benefits:

  • It allows you to line up songs that you want to listen to without having to create an official playlist.
  • You can reorder the songs in the queue on the fly to customize your listening order.
  • It persists across sessions so you can pick up where you left off.
  • You can save the entire queue as a playlist to your library.

Up Next Queue Tips

  • Your Up Next queue persists across listening sessions on the same device. Close and re-open the app and your queue will still be there.
  • You can also access and manage your queue from the YouTube Music web player at music.youtube.com.
  • If you have YouTube Premium, you can download songs, albums or playlists for offline listening. Downloads get automatically added to your Up Next queue.

So in summary, the Up Next queue in YouTube Music gives you an easy way to line up tracks for back-to-back listening without making an official playlist.
