The PlayStation 5 home screen interface allows you to access your games, media apps, settings, and more. While the PS5 does not currently support custom themes like the PS4 did, there are still a few ways you can customize and personalize your home screen experience.

The Control Center on PS5 provides quick access to common system functions and features. You can rearrange the icons shown here to better fit your usage preferences:

Disable Dynamic Music
If you find the dynamic music distracting when browsing games, you can turn this off:

Disabling dynamic music will keep the standard PS5 menu music playing at all times.
Set Custom Button Assignments
For supported controllers, you can customize what the extra buttons do:

- Select a controller
- Choose a button and pick what system function it triggers
Customizing your controller buttons allows you to more easily trigger common actions.
Use Folders (On PS4 Games)
If you access your PS4 game library from your PS5, you can use folders to organize your games just like on the PS4. This allows some customization of your PS4 library.
Themes Could Come Later
Currently the PS5 does not allow themes, but this could change in a future system software update. The PS4 did not have themes initially either, so there is hope themes could come eventually to PS5 as well.
