Troubleshooting Tips

If your Echo Show has issues connecting to the new WiFi network, try these troubleshooting tips:

  • Restart your Echo Show by unplugging it and plugging back in.
  • Make sure you entered the correct WiFi password. Double check for typos.
  • Move your Echo Show closer to your WiFi router or access point for a better signal.
  • Disable 5GHz WiFi on your router and just use the 2.4GHz band, which has better range.
  • Temporarily reduce WiFi traffic by turning off other devices connected to WiFi.
  • Factory reset your Echo Show and set it up again from scratch.

Changing the WiFi network settings on your Amazon Echo Show is quick and straightforward either directly on the device through settings or remotely via the Alexa app. With the steps above, you’ll have your Echo Show connecting to a new home WiFi network in just a few minutes.
