How To Delete Google Analytics Account

Before deleting your Google Analytics account, there are some important steps you should take:

  • Remove the Analytics tracking code from all your web pages or mobile apps so no new data is collected. This prevents confusion about what data will be deleted later.
  • Export any important historical data you want to retain, such as reports on traffic, conversions, etc. The data will be permanently lost after your account is deleted.
  • Inform any other users with access to the account about the planned deletion so they can export data or create copies if desired.
