The iPhone has a built-in Bedtime feature that allows you to set a schedule for sleep and wake up times. This dims the screen, mutes notifications, and can play alarm sounds to help you keep a consistent sleep routine. Here are the steps to turn off scheduled Bedtime on your iPhone completely:
Table of Contents
Turn Off Current Bedtime Schedule
- Open the Clock app
- Tap on the Bedtime tab
- Tap on the toggle switch next to “Scheduled” to turn it off
- Confirm turning off the schedule when prompted
This will disable your currently scheduled Bedtime, but keep the Bedtime feature enabled.
Disable Bedtime Reminders
- Open the Health app
- Tap Browse > Sleep
- Tap Options
- Turn off the toggle switch next to “Sleep Reminders”
This will stop any reminders about your scheduled Bedtime.
Delete Existing Bedtime Schedules
- Open the Health app
- Tap Browse > Sleep
- Tap Full Schedule & Options
- Tap Edit next to any schedule
- Tap Delete Schedule at the bottom
- Repeat steps for any other schedules
Deleting all Bedtime schedules will completely remove them. You can always set up a new schedule later if wanted.
And that’s it! With no active schedule, reminders disabled, and past schedules deleted, the iPhone’s Bedtime feature is now completely disabled. You will no longer have any sleep-related alerts, dimming, or other automated actions on your device.
