How To Forward Inbound Calls in RingCentral Service

RingCentral offers flexible call forwarding options to ensure calls are answered even when you are unavailable. You can:

  • Forward calls to any phone number, such as your mobile number or home number
  • Forward calls simultaneously or sequentially to multiple numbers
  • Set forwarding rules based on time of day, caller ID, and other conditions

How to Forward Calls

Forward All Calls

To forward all incoming calls unconditionally:

  1. Log in to your RingCentral online account
  2. Go to Settings > Call Handling & Forwarding
  3. Click “Forward all calls”
  4. Enter the number you want to forward calls to
  5. Click Save

This will forward every call immediately to the designated number.

Selective Call Forwarding

To customize your call forwarding rules:

  1. Go to Settings > Call Rules
  2. Click “Add Rule”
  3. Give the rule a name
  4. Define conditions like time of day, caller ID, etc.
  5. Specify which number to forward calls to
  6. Click Save

You can create multiple rules to route calls differently based on various conditions.

Forward When Unreachable

To forward calls only when your phone is unreachable or offline:

  1. Go to Settings > Call Handling & Forwarding
  2. Under “When my phone is unreachable” section, click “Add Number”
  3. Enter number to forward to
  4. Click Save

This will only forward calls if your phone is switched off, out of range, or out of minutes.


  • You can forward calls to international numbers
  • Use a dedicated extension if forwarding a main company number
