DoorDash allows users to easily change the delivery address for orders. Whether you want to update your default address or change the address for a current order, DoorDash makes it simple across devices.

Changing Your Default Delivery Address
Your default delivery address is the address that automatically populates when you place a new order on DoorDash. If you’ve moved or want to change your default for other reasons, here’s how:
On Desktop
- Go to DoorDash.com and log into your account
- Click on your profile icon in the top right and select “My Account”
- Under the “Addresses” section, click “Add New Address”
- Enter your new address details
- Click “Make Default” to set this as your new default address
- Click “Save”
On Android
- Open the DoorDash app on your Android device
- Tap the profile icon in the top left and select “Account”
- Tap “Addresses”
- Tap the “+” icon to add a new address
- Enter your new address details
- Toggle “Make Default” on to make this your default address
- Tap “Save”
On iPhone
- Open the DoorDash app on your iPhone
- Tap the profile icon in the top left and choose “Account”
- Scroll down and select “Addresses”
- Tap the “+” button to add a new address
- Fill in your new address information
- Turn on the switch for “Default Address”
- Tap “Done” to save your new default
Once you save your new default address, it will automatically populate for future orders.
Changing the Address for a Current Order
If you’ve already placed an order but need to change the delivery address, follow these steps:
On Desktop
- Go to DoorDash.com and log in
- Click “My Orders” at the top
- Find your order and click “Help”
- Choose the “Change Address” option
- Enter your new delivery address and click “Change Address”
On Android
- In the DoorDash app, tap the profile icon in the top left
- Select “My Orders”
- Tap the order you want to modify
- Scroll down and tap “Help”
- Choose “Change Address”
- Enter the new delivery address and tap “Change”
On iPhone
- In the DoorDash app, tap the profile icon in the top left
- Choose “My Orders”
- Tap on the order to change
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Get Help”
- Select “Change Address”
- Type in the new delivery address and tap “Change”
After changing the address, the Dasher will be notified and will deliver to your updated address. However, keep in mind that significant address changes far from the original location may lead to order cancelations.
Adding Multiple Delivery Addresses
DoorDash allows you to save multiple addresses to quickly choose from when ordering. Here’s how to add additional addresses:
On Desktop
- Go to DoorDash.com and log into your account
- Click your profile picture and choose “My Account”
- Under “Addresses”, click “Add New Address”
- Fill in the details for your new address
- Click “Save”
You can add as many addresses as you want this way.
In the Android App
- Open the DoorDash app on your device
- Tap the profile icon and select “Account”
- Choose “Addresses”
- Tap the “+” icon to add a new address
- Enter the address details
- Click “Save”
In the iPhone App
- In the DoorDash app, tap the profile icon
- Select “Account”
- Scroll down and choose “Addresses”
- Tap the “+” button to add a new address
- Fill in your address information
- Click “Done” to save
When placing a new order, you can easily select any of your saved addresses at checkout.
Removing Saved Addresses
Don’t need an old address anymore? Here’s how to remove saved addresses:
On Desktop
- Log into your DoorDash account on DoorDash.com
- Click your profile picture and select “My Account”
- Under “Addresses”, find the address you want to remove
- Click the trash icon to delete the address
- Confirm you want to remove the address
Note: You can’t remove an address if it’s set as your default. Change your default address first before removing.
On Android
- Open the DoorDash app on your device
- Tap the profile icon and choose “Account”
- Select “Addresses”
- Find the address you want to remove
- Tap the trash icon next to the address
- Confirm that you want to remove the address
On iPhone
- In the DoorDash app, tap the profile icon
- Choose “Account”
- Scroll down and select “Addresses”
- Swipe left on the address you want to remove
- Tap “Delete” to confirm
