What is a Family Circle?
- A Family Circle on Life360 is a group that allows families and friends to share their locations with each other in real-time.
- It enables members to view each other’s location, receive driving alerts, coordinate meetups, and communicate within the circle.
Joining a Family Circle
To join an existing Family Circle:
- Open the Life360 app on your phone
- Tap the “Join Circle” button
- Enter the Family Circle code shared by an existing member
- Accept the invite and you will be added to the circle
To create a new Family Circle and invite members:
- Open the Life360 app
- Tap the “Create a Circle” button
- Name your circle and finish setting it up
- Tap the “Invite Members” button
- Share your unique Family Circle code with family and friends you wish to invite
Accepting a Family Circle Invite
To accept a Family Circle invite from an existing member:
- Open the Life360 app
- You will get a notification that you’ve been invited to join a circle
- Tap “Accept” to join the Family Circle
- Allow the app to access location services on your phone
If you don’t have the app:
- Download Life360 from the App Store or Google Play Store
- Open the app and enter the Family Circle code you were given
- Accept the invite and you will join the circle
