Check the product sticker, it contains a serial number
The serial number information most often included along with the user manual document. Moreover, the manufacturer has also printed the serial number on the device itself either by laser or on the product sticker.
- Check the bottom side of the laptop, while for a tablet it usually on the back.
- If the laptop had a removable battery, the serial number probably placed on the battery compartment.
- For a desktop computer, the serial number most likely embedded on the side of the computer case.
