By default, Windows 10 comes with dozens of background apps running beneath the system without noticing user. The most of them are a pre-installed app that designed to improve operating system capability. In fact, general user rarely takes the benefit of the background apps such as 3D Builder, Get Help, Feedback Hub, or even Camera. Those apps are consuming memory (RAM) while running and eventually slow down your machine. So, how to disable background apps on Windows 10?
Previously, in order to deactivate background program, we can go through Task Manager and head to Startup or Services tab before choosing whichever app you want to kill. Open the Start Menu and click gears icon (Settings).

From there, you can turn off Let apps run in the background to completely disable all background apps in just one click.
Furthermore, Microsoft allowing you to select whichever apps that disabled or kept running. The configuration will remains permanent unless you change the settings.

As I mentioned previously, background apps have a similar trait to conventional apps. The difference is only one — they run on the background system. They keep consuming RAM and CPU performances though on a minor scale. But the outcome is hugely impacted on low-end devices, put say notebook or PC tablet. Disabling unnecessary background apps not only free up RAM space and lower the CPU workload, but also save the battery consumption.
